CM Revanth Reddy’s Call Inspires Grassroots Outreach of SPs

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s recent advice to young civil servants to go out and mingle with the people appears to have had a positive impact. Acting on his words, superintendents of police (SPs) have begun touring villages to understand public issues and raise awareness of the government’s people-friendly schemes.Jogulamba Gadwal SP T. Srinivasa Rao participated in a grama sabha in Veerapuram of Gadwal mandal, engaging with residents and spoke of government schemes. Speaking at the book launch of former bureaucrat M. Gopalakrishna on February 16, the Chief Minister praised the previous generations of civil servants for their dedication to public service. He highlighted their practice of visiting remote areas to understand and resolve people’s problems. The author Gopalakrishna, a former IAS officer, was known for his integrity and impactful public service. Warangal police commissioner Ambar Kishor Jha took serious note of illegal sand transportation and visited the Ambala and Nerella areas, as he had received complaints of illegal mining. The commissioner observed illegal sand mining and seized a few vehicles transporting the sand on the spot. Suryapet SP Sunpreet Singh visited Doorajupalli to oversee preparations for the Pedda Gattu Jatara. He spent time interacting with locals and learning about their concerns.
