CM Revanth Reddy asks officials to rename Yadadri as Yadagirigutta

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy asked officials concerned to rechristen Yadadri as Yadagirigutta in all official records and also to implement it in daily usage. He gave these orders after reviewing the development of Yadagirigutta temple, the abode of lord Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy with the authorities after offering special prayers in connection with his birthday on Friday. He said the State government has decided to constitute “Yadagirigutta Temple Board”. Officials have been asked to take necessary steps to establish the Temple Board on the lines of TTD (Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam). The Yadagirigutta Temple Board should be established equal to the status of TTD after a complete study of the Tirumala Board. He instructed the authorities to introduce a special policy for cow protection in Goshala and asked officials to leverage technological innovations for cow protection. Stating that no facility was provided for devotees to sleep on the hill of holy sShrine in the past, he instructed officials to take measures and make required arrangements for devotees to sleep on the hill and pay obeisance to the God. Revanth Reddy wanted officials to speed up the works for the completion of gold plating of Vimana Gopuram and complete the works before brahmotsavam. The authorities have been asked to complete the pending land acquisition related to the development of the temple and instructed officials to grant required funds for it. “All the pending works in the temple should be completed. The officials are directed to come with complete details and proposals in a week,” he said, asking officials to take steps to complete the pending works. He asked the authorities to submit a comprehensive report on the pending works and other issues. Ordered the officials to rechristen Yadadri as Yadagirigutta in all official records and and also inforce in daily usage.
