Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has directed that the field-level pilot project for issuing Telangana family digital cards across 119 constituencies be executed effectively. He suggested that field inspections be conducted in 238 areas within each constituency, including one town and one rural area. In fully urban constituencies, two wards or divisions should be inspected, while in rural constituencies, two villages should be covered.The Chief Minister also recommended increasing the number of inspection teams, given the potential overpopulation in certain wards or divisions. He conducted a review of the Telangana family digital cards project at the state secretariat on Monday, where officials explained the details of the pilot project and the data to be collected.The selection of villages, wards, and divisions for field inspections in all 119 constituencies has already been completed. When asked about the duration of the pilot project, officials informed the Chief Minister that it would be conducted from October 3rd to 7th.During the meeting, CM Reddy made it clear that taking a family photo should be optional, based on the consent of all family members. If a family does not agree, the photo is not required. He also urged the nodal officers of joint districts to guide collectors in carrying out the field inspections.Officials explained that the process of identifying families has already been completed using data from ration cards, pensions, self-help groups, farmer insurance schemes, and health insurance programs. The Chief Minister emphasized the need for accuracy in registering and updating family member details, warning against any mistakes.He also instructed that a report should be prepared outlining the successes and challenges of the pilot project. After reviewing the report and addressing any issues, a full-scale field inspection will be conducted.
