Hyderabad: The Narendra Modi administration has filled 10 lakh permanent government jobs in the last one-and-a-half years in a transparent manner without external influence, claimed BJP state president and Union minister G. Kishan Reddy. He was speaking at a Rozgar Mela held at the CRPF campus in Chandrayangutta on Monday, where 546 candidates from the Telugu states were given appointment letters for jobs in the CRPF, ITBP, SSB, Railways, postal department, Maulana Azad National Urdu University Hyderabad, the University of Hyderabad, SBI and Canara Bank.Kishan Reddy said the Centre’s push for Digital India, reforms in digital transactions and the production-linked incentive (PLI) schemes had become significant drivers of employment. The Centre was working to create a large number of private jobs by harnessing the entrepreneurial skills of the youth through Startup India and Standup India, he said.Separately, at an event in Filmnagar, Kishan Reddy distributed dual desks and toilet cleaning machines to the government high schools in Khairatabad and Jubilee Hills Assembly segments, which fall under Secunderabad Lok Sabha limits.“I am truly worried about the poor amenities in the government schools despite governments spending thousands of crores of rupees on school education. I want to ensure the basic amenities in the Secunderabad constituency by providing funds for the construction of toilets, toilet cleaning machines and furniture. I have informed my willingness to the district education officer,” the minister announced.
