Hyderabad: A devastating car accident on the Mumbai national highway in the Kovur mandal of Nellore district claimed the lives of six people, including five medical students.The incident occurred when a car, carrying six individuals, rammed into a house, killing the homeowner, 50-year-old Venkata Ramanaiah, and five second-year medical students from Narayana Medical College in Nellore. The students were returning from Buchireddypalem after attending the engagement ceremony of a friend’s sister.The five medical students who tragically succumbed to their injuries while undergoing treatment have been identified as Jeevan, Vignesh, Naresh, Abhisai, and Abhishek. Another student travelling in the car, Mounith Reddy, is reported to be in stable condition, according to doctors.
