Vijayawada: In a tragic case, a four-year-old boy died when a pack of four stray dogs attacked him at Swarna Bharathi Nagar in Guntur on Sunday evening.According to police and municipal authorities, the boy had been playing near his home and eating a biscuit when the stray dogs attacked him. They bit him on the neck, cutting his jugular vein, which led to severe bleeding.When he screamed in pain, his parents rushed to his rescue. They shifted him to the government hospital, where a doctor informed the parents that their son had already died.Police booked a case and investigation is on.Municipal administration minister P. Narayana has expressed deep sorrow on the death of the boy. Later, municipal commissioner Srinivasulu visited the deceased boy’s parents and consoled them, assuring all help from the government.
