Konaseema: Boat races, organized in the traditional Kerala style, were held at Atreyapuram in Konaseema district to celebrate Sankranti. The event, conducted under the auspices of MLA Satyananda Rao, attracted a large crowd. In addition to the boat races, swimming competitions were also organized, drawing spectators from the surrounding areas. The competitions took place in the main crop canal of Atreyapuram, adding to the festive atmosphere.
