BJP's win helps youth, teachers: Etala

Hyderabad:Malkajgiri BJP MP Etala Rajendar said that the BRS had skipped the MLC polls and the Congress has announced its nominee only for Graduates’ MLC seat, reflecting their inability to face the graduates and teacher voters, who maintain societal concerns and think independently.Talking to reporters at the state BJP office here, Rajendar pointed out that the BJP gave unstinted support to teachers when the earlier BRS government brought GO 317, which led to arbitrary transfer of teachers. The Congress gave support to teachers but backtracked after coming to power. BJP candidates would stand with teachers and graduates if they are voted in the coming MLC polls, he said. Rajendar also highlighted unemployment, noting that the problems of unemployed youth and students had intensified after the Donald Trump administration in the US had started imposing new restrictions. “The youth must be trained in skill up gradation to improve their job prospects in the country. For this skilling, the Modi government allocated `4 lakh crore in the current budget. The government takes the unemployment issue seriously,” Rajendar said. “There is nothing new to tell how the BRS leaders spread lies. On the other hand, the Telangana voters, who brought Congress with the highest hopes, have been rejecting the same kind of hate within one year, realising how the Congress leaders have cheated them. These parties would continue to attract the voters with allurements. I urge voters to cast your votes independently with utmost fairness,” Rajendar said and added the Telangana United Teachers’ Federation also announced support for BJP candidates.
