SRINAGAR: The BJP has issued a revised list of 15 candidates for only the first phase of Assembly polls in Jammu and Kashmir.In the list of 15 candidates, there are 15 Muslim candidates.Earlier, in the morning the party had issued a list of 44 candidates including 14 Muslims for Jammu and Kashmir Assembly polls. The party, however, withdrew the list to make some changes in the list.Two former Deputy CMs Kavinder Gupta and Nirmal Singh along with some senior leaders were not on the list which included 14 Muslim candidates.Jammu and Kashmir is going to polls in three phases. The first phase will be held on September 18, the second phase on September 25 and the final and third phase on October 1. The counting of votes will take place on October 4.For the first phase of polls on September 18, 24 Assembly segments in Anantnag, Pulwama, Shopian, Kulgam Doda, Ramban and Kishtwar districts of J&K would go to polls.
