Nizamabad: BJP MLAs Dhanpal Suryanarayana Gupta and Paidi Rakesh Reddy criticised the Congress government for not fulfilling its poll promises, accusing Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy of deceiving voters with assurances during the Assembly elections and misleading unemployed youth.Speaking at BJP district offices, the MLAs, along with BJP district president K. Dinesh Kumar — also the National Turmeric Board chairman — claimed that Revanth Reddy endorsed the defeat of Congress graduates’ MLC candidate V. Narender Reddy in his speeches. They further warned that if the Congress had conducted public meetings during its MLC poll campaign, it would face a fitting lesson from the people.The BJP leaders also highlighted that the Mega DSC notification and job calendar have not been released 14 months into the current Congress rule, and predicted a thumping majority for the BJP in the upcoming MLC elections.
