KAKINADA: Bharatiya Janata Party state president and Rajamahendravaram MP D. Purandeswari said BJP aims to empower poor and raise the living standards of those living below the poverty line. Addressing party workers at the BJP Foundation Day celebrations at Rajamahendravaram on Sunday, she said the party in power at the centre and 15 states of India is working for the development of all sections of people. At Kakinada, BJP workers celebrated their Foundation Day in a grand manner.Party’s Kakinada assembly constituency convener Gatti Satyanarayana and BJP leader Pydah Venkata Narayana unfurled the flag at the 27 ward at a function organised by the party in-charge Chelluri Satyanarayana. Satyanarayana said the union government has drawn up plans to provide employment to youth on a large scale. Those present included party leaders Ch. Ramesh, D. Verendra, G. Siva and Siva Ramakrishna.
