Hyderabad:Telangana BC Commission chairman G. Niranjan has welcomed the State government’s decision to conduct a survey between February 16 and 28 to cover households left out of the comprehensive socio-economic, political and caste survey.
Calling it a significant step, Niranjan also hailed the government’s move to introduce a Bill in the Legislative Assembly seeking 42 per cent reservations for BCs and forwarding it to the Centre for approval.
He urged those who had not participated in the survey to take advantage of this opportunity and called on BC associations, activists and survey staff to go door-to-door to ensure the process’s success.
