Karimnagar: Union minister of state for home affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Tuesday pitched for comprehensive development of the Karimnagar parliament constituency including Kodimyal mandal regardless of which political parties are in power.Accompanied by local Congress MLA Medipally Satyam and former MLA Bodige Shobha, the Union minister inaugurated a road link between the Shivaji statue in Kodimial mandal and Angadi Bazar built at a cost of ₹65 lakh.He inspected various developmental works in Kodimial mandal undertaken with Rs 3.5 crore central funds, including from MP local area development funds and the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme.The minister also reviewed the construction of CC roads in several villages and improvements to community infrastructure, including kitchen sheds, community halls and PACS buildings.Speaking to the media, the minister said, “We are working together for the development of the Karimnagar parliament constituency. It is a matter of pride to inaugurate various development works in Kodimial mandal undertaken with central funds.”“By working together, we will show how development can be achieved without politics. I am committed to ensuring holistic development of the Choppadandi constituency, and in the coming days, I will strive to bring in more funds from the Centre,” he added.
