Apple is gearing up to make the switch with the upcoming iPadOS 19, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman.Mark Gurman, in his Power On newsletter, stated that the iPadOS 19 upgrade will focus on enhancing productivity, multitasking, and app window management. “It’s been a long time coming, with iPad power users pleading with Apple to make the tablet more powerful,” he wrote .However, Gurman did not provide specific details about the upcoming iPadOS 19.The new iPadOS 19 is part of a major overhaul by Apple that also includes iOS 19 and macOS 16, set to change the interface of the iPhone, iPad, and Mac.According to Bloomberg, the redesign is inspired by the Vision Pro’s software and will include refreshed styles for icons, menus, apps, windows, and system buttons.Apple is expected to unveil iPadOS 19, along with iOS 19, macOS 15, and other software updates, at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2025 on June 9.
