VIJAYAWADA: Governor S. Abdul Nazeer has congratulated Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) for successful launch of Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV)-D3, which placed the EOS-08 satellite into the orbit from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota on Friday. In a statement from Raj Bhavan here on Friday, the Governor said the Isro had added another feather in its cap by accomplishing the mission and wished the scientists many more successful missions in the future.Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu said it was a moment of glory for India’s space prowess and congratulated the Isro on the successful launch of SSLV)-D3.He said, “This milestone achievement strengthens India’s small satellite capabilities and empowers New Space India Ltd for future commercial launches. I extend my best wishes to Team Isro for their future endeavours.Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan has congratulated the Isro scientists on the successful launch of SSLV-D3, which placed the EOS-08 earth observation satellite into its intended orbiton.Pawan noted that the EOS-08, which monitors and studies the environment, natural calamities and volcanoes, is of great benefit to the society. He also highlighted the hard work of the scientists in designing satellites and successfully launching them into orbit for the benefit of the country. The science and technology minister added that India’s glory is being enhanced over time with new achievements in the field of space, making the country proud. Former chief minister and YSRC president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Isro for the successful launch of the EOS-08 earth observation satellite. Jagan Mohan Reddy has commended the Isro scientists and engineers for their unwavering dedication and relentless pursuit of excellence, which has once again placed India on the global stage of space exploration. He praised the organisation’s consistent efforts in achieving new milestones that contribute to the national development and global scientific advancements.
