All Hindus should share temples, water, cremation grounds: RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat

On Saturday, he visited Kashi Vishwanath Corridor and paid obeisance to Lord Shiva Temple followed by a separate interaction with the intellectuals based out of Kashi.Division co-sanghchalak Dr Rameshwar Chaurasia, area pracharak Anil Kumar and state pracharak Ramesh Kumar accompanied the RSS chief. Moreover, the strategy to implement various programmes, including a door-to-door contact campaign, Hindu conferences in the organisation’s centenary year were discussed at a meeting attended by top Sangh office bearers of the Kashi region in Bhagwat’s presence. As per a senior RSS functionary, the Sangh has set a target to make 1.25 lakh new volunteers in the Kashi region as part of the centenary year celebrations. The door-to-door contact campaign would be conducted between November 5 and November 30, this year. During the “Griha Sampark Abhiyan,” the volunteers will carry booklets with a brief history and works of the Sangh and deliver it to the people.Meanwhile, during his stay in Varanasi, RSS chief faced the protests by the activists of national Students Union of India (NSUI), the student wing of Congress. The NSUI activists alleged that Bhagwat’s love for Hindutva was fake as he did not visit Mahakumbh. They claimed that the RSS chief used to harp upon Hindutva from every platform, but when it came to practice he stepped back.Besides Kashi, the RSS chief is likely to visit other eastern UP districts including Ghazipur, Mirzapur and Sonbhadra.
