Hyderabad: Achampet MLA. Dr. Ch. Vamshikrishna on Monday inaugurated Akkamahadevi – Domalpenta stay package. The stay package is centred at Domalpenta and four rooms in Vanavihanga cottages and guest house are being made available in the first phase. The accommodation is unique in its location with mesmerising beauty of River Krishna backwaters from Srisailam dam. As part of the package, on the first day, visitors will be taken by safari vehicles to Octopus view point and Vajrala madugu watch tower where they can enjoy the river meandering through the green hills with complex topography. The next day, they will be taken on a safari to the trekking point of Akkamahadevi where visitors are dropped to trek down to Akkamahadevi caves. Enroute visitors enjoy the interior natural forests and animal sightings. During the trek, they enjoy the topographic complexity of serene Nallamala hills and beautiful river views. It is about a 45 minutes trek and after reaching the Akkamahadevi caves, they can visit the holy lord Shiva in the caves. After that, trek back to the dropping point, and board the safari vehicles. The trek requires reasonable physical endurance and only fit people are advised to book. The Chenchu nature guides will be provided for the trek to assist and guide. The tariff is ranging from Rs.6,500 to Rs.8,000 including safari on both days, to view points on the first day, and trekking, visit to Akkamahadevi caves on the second day. Also, it includes a souvenir item. The room accommodates two adults. For additional persons above 8 years of age additional charge of Rs.1,700 is charged.
