Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) is likely to file a petition before the court seeking police custody of Bhookya Hariram, engineer-in-chief, irrigation and CAD department, for questioning in connection with the illegal assets case.The agency officials, who arrested the accused officer for amassing illegal assets, believe that the accused had violated rules and amassed assets worth Rs.200 crore. However, the officials are verifying the seized property details. The officials also would collect details from Stamps and Registration to get details about Benami properties.During their raids, ACB officials found that the accused bought villas in Kondapur, Gachibowli, a flat in Srinagar Colony, Madhapur, Narsingi, commercial space in Amaravathi, 20 acres in Markook, six acres farm house, open plots in Quthbullapur and Kothagudem.Sources said the ACB officials need to question the accused to cross check the properties after they noticed some more suspicious transactions. Bank lockers of the accused are yet to be opened.
