Actress Srinidhi Shetty is busy promoting her upcoming film ‘HIT 3’, which is set for a grand theatrical release on May 1st. Did you know that Srinidhi was the first choice to play the character of Sita in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, which features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Sriram?That’s not all; Srinidhi also auditioned and attended a screen test for the role of Sita. The team was very happy after her screen test. The talks about Ramayana happened a couple of months after KGF 2.Srinidhi said, “I had this feeling that if Yash plays Ravan and I as Sita, the audience who showered unconditional love for the KGF franchise might not like the opposite characters. They might be happy to see us, but they may not welcome us as antagonists to each other. So, somewhere I thought it might or might not work.”Later, actress Sai Pallavi was approached for the role of Sita, and she has agreed to the film. Srinidhi also agrees that Sai Pallavi is a great choice for the character of Sita.Coming back to Srinidhi Shetty’s HIT 3, it is directed by Sailesh Kolanu and features Natural Star Nani in the lead role.
