Nellore: Energy minister Gottipati Ravi Kumar criticised the previous YSRCP regime, alleging that it humiliated teachers by assigning them duties at liquor shops and disregarding their dignity.The minister was addressing a gathering during his whirlwind tour in Addanki constituency, after laying the foundation stone for various developmental works on Monday. He launched an NTR Park and water plant constructed at a cost of Rs.10 lakh, a newly laid CC road worth Rs.30 lakh and six newly built classrooms at a local government school built at a cost of Rs.78.17 lakh. Only the TDP-led government has consistently released DSC notifications and the education system would be further strengthened under the leadership of Nara Lokesh, he said.Reaffirming the government’s commitment to youth employment, he said that 16,347 teacher posts were being filled through DSC as promised.
