Hyderabad: The Telangana Medical Council found serious irregularities at Sharath Cardiac centre in Suryapet.The inspection followed a complaint alleging malpractice at the clinic. A team of TGMC members conducted the raid during which the members found that Vanam Sharath Chandra, a technician, conducting heart scans and issuing reports in the name of a doctor without her presence and claimed to be a doctor.Notice is issued to the doctor on whose name the clinic is registered, and action will be taken as per the ethics committee recommendations after receiving replies. Services were offered without qualified cardiologist. TGMC officials stated similar complaints were received against other cardiac centres where technicians performed heart scans without proper doctor on site.
