Hyderabad: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday carried out raids on the premises belonging to Surana Industries and Sai Surya Developers. Special teams of ED that came from Chennai conducted raids at Bowenpally, Jubilee Hills and Madhapur. The raids were carried out after Surana Industries allegedly failed to repay loans taken from banks. Sai Surya Developers was an associate company. The ED officials said these raids were part of an alleged money laundering probe related to Surana Industries and Sai Surya Developers. They searched several properties belonging to two groups.
