Hyderabad:BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao said on Tuesday alleged that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy was the ‘joint CM’ of the BJP and the Congress parties, and that Union minister Bandi Sanjay was his shield. Speaking with reporters, Rama Rao said the BJP was fully protecting the Congress government in the state.“If the BJP wanted to, could it not have stopped the government on the HCU land issue,” he asked, referring to the controversy over the Kancha Gachibowli land. “The BJP legislature party leader talked about the Amrut scheme scam. Prime Minister Modi talks about the RR tax. But there is action on any of these,” Rama Rao claimed.Rama Rao also said Modi “scored a hattrick” by raising petrol and diesel prices, hiking the cost of LPG and the country’s investors lost `19 lakh crore in one day. The nation’s wealth is evaporating, this is a result of the Modi government’s silence on the tariffs and what it intends to do on this front.”The BRS leader also warned that Trump’s tariffs do not bode well for Telangana too and it is likely that the pharma industry and the IT sector which are huge exporters to USA, will suffer as a consequence.
