Hyderabad: The Hare Krishna Golden Temple in Banjara Hills witnessed a grand celebration of Sri Rama Navami on Sunday, drawing hundreds of devotees.The day began with the traditional Sri Sitarama Kalyanotsavam. The deities, Sri Radha Govinda, were dressed as Sri Sita Ramachandra in silk attire and floral decorations. In the evening, a Maha Pallaki Utsavam was held. Sri Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa Prabhuji, president of the Hare Krishna Movement in Hyderabad, delivered a spiritual discourse. “Lord Rama’s life is the highest expression of Dharma,” he said. He added that the concept of ‘Rama Rajya’, marked by ideal governance, is still relevant today. Similar celebrations were also held at the under-construction Hare Krishna Heritage Tower in Narsingi. All visitors were served prasadam meals, and temple authorities ensured smooth arrangements throughout the day.
