Reliance Industries director Anant Ambani’s wife Radhika Merchant visited Devbhumi Dwaraka on Sunday. Ahead of Anant’s 30th birthday on April 10, he completed his 170-km padayatra from Jamnagar to Dwaraka on Rama Navami. Anant wanted to do this padayatra after our wedding and I am happy that he completed it, she said. She also thanked all those who had prayed for successful completion of Anant’s padayatra. Anant Ambani is the youngest son of Asia’s richest man Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani. Anant Ambani began his spiritual journey on March 29 and concluded it on April 6. He walked 20 km every day, often through the night, to complete the padayatra. He was accompanied by Z+ security. He kept chanting the Hanuman Chalisa and Sundarakand chapter during his padayatra. Anant suffers from Cushing’s Syndrone, a rare hormonal disorder, and morbid obesity, along with asthma. Yet, he moved on with faith and discipline to cover the 170 km.
