BJP workers were seen protesting fiercely on the road at Argora, Kishoreganj, Bariatu Ormanjhi, Beddo, Dhurwa, Khalari, Kanke Ratu, Ratu Road, Booti Mor in Ranchi. The protesters, however, claimed that essential services have been kept free from the bandh. The police have also been put on alert mode. At the same time, more than 50 BJP workers protesting from various areas of the capital have been detained by the police. Former Zila Parishad member Anil Tiger was shot dead by unidentified assailants near Kanke Chowk under Kanke police station in Ranchi on Wednesday.According to police, Anil Tiger was standing near Kanke Chowk when the armed assailants on the bike targeted him. Soon after the attack, the criminals managed to escape.
