LUCKNOW: A Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) employee from Agra reportedly died by suicide on Monday (February 24), leaving behind a video clip where he is seen accusing his wife of pushing him to take the extreme step.Manav Sharma, 30, who was employed at TCS as recruitment manager, was a resident of Defence Colony in Agra but had been based in Mumbai. According to police sources, he was married to Nikita Sharma on January 30 last year. Assistant Commissioner of Police, Sadar, Agra, Vinayak Bhonsle, said a case was registered on the basis of a complaint filed by Narendra Sharma, the father of the deceased, who is a retired IAF officer. Narendra Sharma also put a copy of his complaint on the CM portal.The complaint states that the couple had visited Agra on February 23. They had gone to Nikita’s home, where Manav was allegedly insulted. The techie returned home in a frustrated mental state and recorded the reasons for dying by suicide as a video statement, the complaint said, adding that he hung himself around 5 am on February 24.In the complaint, the deceased’s father has claimed that Nikita had gone with Manav to Mumbai after marriage and initially all went well. However, in due course, she allegedly started having arguments with Manav while threatening to implicate the whole family in a false case. She allegedly used to threaten to leave Manav and live with her boyfriend.
