A 42-year-old woman allegedly took her own life after poisoning her two minor daughters in Chachroli village, police said on Thursday. The tragic incident occurred on Wednesday evening when Vinti gave poison to her daughters, Sapna (13) and Saraswati (11), before ending her life.According to the Bhopa SHO police station, Vijay Kumar, the three were rushed to a nearby hospital, where Vinti and Sapna were declared dead. Saraswati, who survived the poisoning, remains in critical condition and is undergoing treatment.The bodies of Vinti and Sapna have been sent for post-mortem, and police are conducting an investigation into the matter. The cause behind the woman’s drastic step is still unclear, and authorities are working to gather more information from the family and close acquaintances.
