The proposal also demanded the establishment of a mini secretariat in Sub-capital Dumka, start the Chief Minister’s camp office there in a systematic and effective manner besides establishing a transport city here.Apart from that, the demand letter emphasised on giving Dumka the status of a full-fledged sub-capital. In addition to that, a demand was also made to make a clear displacement and rehabilitation policy in Jharkhand nd to give priority to the displaced in jobs along with making arrangements for rehabilitation.Earlier in the afternoon, while attending a programme in Chaibasa, Soren reiterated his commitment to secure rights of the people of Jharkhand and announced new projects worth over Rs 412 crore for the region.Criticising the BJP-led government at the Centre, Soren said that Jharkhand contributes significantly to the country’s exchequer with its mineral resources, but there was nothing for the state and its tribal population in the Union Budget. He would continue the fight to secure the rights of the people of this state, he said.“Jharkhand contributes significantly to the country’s exchequer with its mineral resources.
