4 women missing in Kumbh Mela reunited with kin

KARIMNAGAR: Four women who went missing during the Maha Kumbh Mela at Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh were reunited with their families in Jagtial district on Saturday.According to police, a group of 11 women from the district went to Prayagraj on January 27 by a private bus to participate in the Kumbh Mela. By the evening of January 29th, they arrived at the Sangam Ghat.The group split into two to take holy dips in the sacred Ganga. During this time, four women —-Anugula Buchhavva, Bellapu Sattavva, Veerla Narasavva and Aadi Rajavva went missing in the large crowd.Based on a complaint by their family members, superintendent of police Ashok Kumar promptly gathered the details and coordinated with Uttar Pradesh Police in Prayagraj. Their joint efforts led to the safe discovery of the four missing women.The women were safely brought back to Jagtial and were reunited with their families.The family members expressed gratitude to SP Ashok Kumar, Metpalli DSP Ramulu for their special efforts in ensuring the safe return of their loved ones.
