Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police arrested four offenders in connection with the murder of one Krishna Goud that took place near Sri Durga Bhavani temple at Edupayala on January 29. The police arrested the quartet after analyzing the footage of over 50 cameras along with the escape route. The arrested has been identified as Akula Krishna, 42, of Gajularamaram, Madaraboina Ravi, 39, Gurram Naresh, 39, and Gambu Shankar, 44, all residents of Sanathnagar. All the four persons were auto rickshaw drivers. The murder came to light when the police received a call to dial 100 from one Raju informing that a person’s body was found near the garbage beside Khaitan Company Road at Cooperative Industrial Estate. Immediately, the police reached the spot and found the body of a person aged between 35 and 40. The police took up the investigation and examined CCTVs. Balanagar DCP K. Suresh Kumar said Akula Krishna developed an altercation with Goud to repair an auto rickshaw a few days ago. This prompted Krishna and his three friends Ravi, Shankar and Naresh to kill Goud due to previous enmity. According to their plan, Krishna took Goud to Sri Durga Bhavani temple in Edupayala in an auto and made him consume liquor. He along with his friends attacked him and smashed his head with metal frame rods killing him on the spot. They later dumped the body at Khaitan Company Road
