Kakinada:K.V. Rao, once a major shareholder in Kakinada Special Economic Zone (KSEZ), is trying to get back his shares from Aurobindo Infra. Rao had recently succeeded in getting back his shares in Kakinada Sea Ports Limited (KSEL).During the YSRC regime, Aurobindo Infra got both KSPL and KSEZ. After the NDA alliance government took over power in AP, K.V. Rao lodged a complaint with CID that Aurobindo had forcibly taken his shares in KSEZ and KSPL.Sources said following this, Aurobindo Infra retransferred the KSPL shares to Rao.Enthused by this, K.V. Rao is making efforts to get back his shares in KSEZ. It is said Rao is exerting pressure on Aurobindo Infra either to retransfer his shares or pay money as per the share value. It is said that he wants nearly ₹2,000 crore from Aurobindo Infra.When this reporter tried to contact K.V. Rao, the latter responded saying he would speak later.
