Warangal: The Congress will focus on implementing the four key schemes such as Rythu Bharosa, Indiramma Athmeeya Bharosa, ration cards and Indiramma houses and is currently conducting a survey to select the beneficiaries, MLA Dr Bhukya Murali Naik said while speaking at a grama sabha in Parvathagiri of Mahabubabad district on Tuesday. The MLA suggested that the beneficiaries need not worry if they do not find their names in the list and there is no need for any agitation as the process of selection of beneficiaries continues on an ongoing basis in a transparent manner. These people can re-apply for the schemes if they do not appear in the official list, he added.Since the government will conduct the grama sabhas until January 25 in all villages, people can apply for the schemes by attending these meetings. he said.Unlike the BRS government which wasted public money, the Congress will provide the Rythu Bharosa specifically for cultivable land and priority will be given to the poorest of the poor for Indiramma houses, he said, adding financial aid will be extended to those working under the NREGS and rations cards will be given away to people who are waiting for them for the past decade. The legislator criticised the previous government for failing to issue even a single ration card during its 10-year rule.He emphasised that these schemes are aimed at improving the lives of the poor regardless of political affiliation. He assured that the schemes, through their proper implementation, will bring in benefits to the underprivileged.
