YSRC president and former chief minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy criticised the coalition government for failing to fulfil its election promises. Speaking during his Pulivendula tour on Tuesday, Jagan accused the government of making impractical commitments, only to backtrack after coming to power.Encouraging his cadre, Jagan stated, “We have delivered on our promises and even exceeded expectations with our welfare schemes. Unlike Chandrababu Naidu, who misled voters with false assurances, we upheld every commitment.” He assured party workers that their efforts would be rewarded, hinting at a potential early election in 2027 under the One Nation One Election framework.Jagan highlighted the party’s achievements during its term and expressed confidence in returning to power as people grow dissatisfied with the coalition’s governance. He announced protests against the power tariff hike on December 27 and the fee reimbursement failure on January 3.Prominent leaders, including MP Y.S. Avinash Reddy, SB Amzath Basha, and Kadapa Mayor Suresh Babu, attended the meeting.
