Khammam: Revenue minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy on Saturday accused BRS MLAs of creating disruptions in the Legislative Assembly to avoid exposure of alleged irregularities and corruption that the proposed new Land Administration Act could uncover.Speaking at the foundation stone-laying ceremony for an Indiramma Model House in Kalluru, he criticised the previous BRS government for failing to process 9.24 lakh farmer applications for sada binama land regularisation. He stated that the new Act, with its land tribunal system, aims to resolve disputes effectively.He also targeted Opposition leader K. Chandrashekar Rao for skipping Assembly sessions and BRS MLAs for tearing copies of Bills and disrupting proceedings. Reddy warned that Congress members would not remain silent if the BRS continued to disturb the state’s peace.Reddy assured that Indiramma houses would be allocated to all eligible families in phases and said the Bhu Bharati initiative would be implemented in two months.
