His visit draws a massive crowd, leading to chaos at the venue. Fans attempted to enter the theatre alongside the actor, causing overcrowding. Stampede claims life The stampede that ensued claimed the life of 35-year-old Revathi and left her young son critically injured. The venue’s security measures proved insufficient for managing the overwhelming crowd. Authorities later pointed to the lack of prior intimation about Allu Arjun’s visit as a key factor contributing to the incident. Legal action initiated Following a complaint from Revathi’s family, the police registered a case under Sections 105 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder) and 118(1) (voluntarily causing hurt) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. The complaint named Allu Arjun, his security team, and the theatre management as being responsible for negligence. Condolences and assistance December 6: Allu Arjun expressed profound regret over the tragedy, offering financial assistance of Rs 25 lakh to the bereaved family, a day after the film’s release. Moving court December 8: Three staffers of Sandhya Theatre arrested for the stampede. December 10: Sandhya Theatre management moves court seeking quashing of the FIR filed by the Chikkadpally police. December 11: Allu Arjun petitions Telangana High Court to quash the FIR registered against him by the Chikkadpally police related to the stampede. Arrest and after December 13: Allu Arjun arrested and sent to 14-day judicial custody by a lower court. The Telangana High Court later granted him interim bail. Victim Revathi’s husband M.
