Hyderabad: Students of The Institute of Hotel Management, Hyderabad (IHMH) prepared a lavish spread featuring Christmas classics such as roast turkey and stollen, a fruit bread, alongside global delicacies like hummus mezze and coq au vin, a French chicken stew.Sanjay K. Thakur, Principal of the 52-year-old institute, said its students leave with multiple job offers through campus placements.Over 40 companies recruit annually from the institute, with salaries starting from Rs 3 lakh per annum, added head of the front office department Rachna Agashe.Thakur said the institute ran the ‘Hunar Se Rozgar Tak’ programme for economically disadvantaged students, providing free education, accommodation, uniforms and food. The demand for these skilled students is immense, with programmes conducted even in districts.
