The Punjabi Singer challenged the authorities across the country to ban Alcohol.He posted a video on his Instagram page and said it is effortless for him to tweak the lyrics.He told the audience that he doesn’t consume alcohol nor does he advertise for that.In an apparent swipe at Telangana government, Diljit said, “There’s good news. I did not get any notice today.””But even today I won’t sing any song about alcohol, because Gujarat is a dry state,” he said.During his concert in Ahmedabad, he said, “Let’s start a movement. If all states declare themselves dry states, from the next day, Diljit Dosanjh will stop singing songs on alcohol for the rest of his life.” He then added, ‘which generates huge revenue.’He further said, that during the pandemic, everything was shut except for liquor shops.”You cannot fool the youth,” he pointed out.He said that he is not intimidated by such notices and he can easily tweak the songs. Dosanj said, “Tweaking songs is very easy for me. I am not a new artist and will not feel helpless when asked to not sing a song. I will tweak the songs and people will equally enjoy it.”While addressing the huge crowd, Diljit went on to call for a liquor ban movement.”There’s another offer. Declare dry for a day in whichever place I have to perform, I won’t sing songs about alcohol,” he added.Diljit Dosanjh is set to perform in 10 cities across India for his Dil-Luminati tour. The tour began with a grand show in Delhi and will end on December 29 in Guwahati. After Ahemadabad, Diljit is now set to perform in Lucknow, Pune, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Indore, Chandigarh, and Guwahati.
