Vijayawada: Director of the Board of Intermediate Education Kritika Shukla has announced that the Principals of Junior Colleges across all managements in the state are informed that the “Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students,” under the Department of Higher Education, has been made available on the National Scholarship Portal (https://www.scholarships.gov.in) for the academic year 2024-25. She also stated that the last date for submission of applications is 31 October 2024.Kritika Shukla clarified that the CSS Scholarship applies to all students who passed the Intermediate Public Examination in 2024 and are submitting fresh applications. Students previously selected for the National Scholarship can renew their applications for the academic year 2024-25. The deadline for both fresh and renewal applications is 31 October 2024, while the last date for verification by the Institute Nodal Officer (INO) is 15 November 2024, she added.Shukla further instructed that all DVEOs and RIOs in the state should direct the Principals of Junior Colleges under all managements to widely publicise this information and inform students who fall under the top 20% (percentile) list, enabling them to apply for the CSSS of MHRD scholarship online via the website (http://scholarships.gov.in). The students’ data is available on the Jnana Bhumi portal.
