Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy here on Thursday said Telangana was ready for Artificial Intelligence (AI). “We will create AI’s future and set standards,” he said while addressing delegates at Global AI Summit-2024. “Our commitment to artificial intelligence is not new. We have already taken big steps for AI. We want to lay a strong foundation for our future. Telangana AI Mission or T-AIM, in partnership with NASSCOM, will help us implement the AI framework in Telangana. We will continue to bring government and industry experts together to drive innovation,” he explained. According to Revanth Reddy, when the first railway train and engine were invented, it changed the world. The first aeroplane changed the world, forever. The invention of electricity, or bulb, TV, camera, computer – they all changed the world.“We are lucky that in our generation we saw the coming of television, computers, internet, mobile phone in our own lifetime. Today, the greatest technology innovation is here – Artificial Intelligence,” he said. “When any new technology comes, it brings both hope and fear. Hope of how it will make our life better. Fear of job losses, disruption.. When we think of India, and our history, we missed past industrial revolutions. We were following, not leading. If we think of India’s future, no city is as perfectly ready for it as Hyderabad. In our city, we not only embrace the future, but we also create it,” Revanth Reddy said. “Our commitment to artificial intelligence is not new. We have already taken big steps for AI. We want to lay a strong foundation for our future,” he added.India’s first major AI conference: “The International AI Global Summit” began in Hyderabad todayChief Minister Revanth Reddy, @revanth_anumula unveiled a 25-point AI Road Map and announced plans for a 200-acre AI CityOrganised by the state government, the summit, themed… pic.twitter.com/R4cVqPbe4v— Deccan Chronicle (@DeccanChronicle) September 5, 2024
