Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke with US President Joe Biden on Monday, During the telephonic conversation the leaders discussed major global and regional issues. The leaders spoke about the ongoing situation in Ukraine, the political climate in Bangladesh.In a post on ‘X’ , PM Modi highlighted the productive nature of the call, stating, “We had a detailed exchange of views on various regional and global issues, including the situation in Ukraine. I reiterated India’s full support for the early return of peace and stability.”The leaders also addressed the situation in Bangladesh. Modi stressed the importance of restoring normalcy and ensuring the safety and security of minorities, particularly Hindus. Both leaders agreed on the need for swift action to address these concerns.
