Hyderabad: A former junior film artist was allegedly murdered by her husband in Hastinapuram on Monday, who tried to frame it as a suicide. The victim was identified as Anuradha, 36; her husband Shivaramaiah is absconding. The couple had a daughter and was living in Mallikarjunanagar Colony in Hasthinapuram.Anuradha’s relatives alleged that the couple used to quarrel frequently and Shivaramaiah suspected her fidelity. On Sunday night, Shivaramaiah allegedly picked up an argument with his wife and strangled her to death, police said.On Monday, Shivaramaiah called his daughter and told her that Anuradha died by suicide. When relatives reached the spot, they saw the strangulation marks and realised Shivaramaiah was absconding. Anuradha’s daughter filed a complaint on her father.
