Hyderabad: An elderly non-resident Indian has lodged a complaint against Incredible India Projects Pvt. Ltd managing director Praveen Kumar Nendugandi and other officials for cheating him of several lakhs of rupees by getting him to buy a property that features in the stamps and registration department’s prohibited list.In his complaint, Qureshi Osman Ali, (65), the complainant, said that Incredible India Projects managing director and sales executive promised to register five plots measuring 150 square yards each at Kondurg of Shadnagar mandal but delayed the registration citing for various reasons.“I trusted sales executive Mohammed Irshad Ahmed, as I knew him personally,” Qureshi told Deccan Chronicle.“The total sale consideration was Rs 37.5 lakh, which was supposed to be paid in 44 equal instalments, commencing from January 25, 2020. The company promised to begin the development of land within one month after getting DTCP’s approval. However, till date, no DTCP approval was obtained,” Qureshi said.“I paid Rs 25.50 lakh. Now when I am ready to pay the balance along with registration charges, they have refused,” Qureshi said. When contacted, sales executive Irshad said Qureshi had invested in a 99-month scheme. After paying for 19 months, he stopped paying instalments which made the company put him in the defaulter list. Now, he wants his money back at the current market rates.”“At the time of the application form, we informed him that the defaulters will lose all their rights. Yet we have shown due consideration to him. But he has been making false allegations against our company’s managing director Praveen and me and approached the police. So now we will also act according to the law and file a defamation case against him for ruining the name of the company with his baseless allegations. Our legal team is already working on it,” Irshad explained.
