Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Monday announced that the renowned industrialist and head of the Mahindra Group Anand Mahindra would be the chairman of the prestigious Young India Skill University in Telangana. The Chief Minister, who is currently on a US tour, revealed this while speaking at a program held in New Jersey on Sunday. He said that Anand Mahindra agreed to his request to be the chairman of the Skill University and they will take charge within a few days. The Chief Minister recently announced in the Assembly that an internationally renowned person will be appointed as the head of the Skill University, which is a public-private partnership, with the aim of training the youth of Telangana to become the best skilled workers in the world. Anand Mahindra recently held discussions on Skill University during his meeting with the Chief Minister in Hyderabad.
