Hyderabad: BJP Kisan Morcha state president Kondapalli Sridhar Reddy demanded that the Congress fulfil its promise and implement an agricultural loan waiver of Rs 2 lakh. He expressed concern over the delay. He reminded that the promise was supposed to be fulfilled on December 9, coinciding with Congress leader Sonia Gandhi’s birthday.Submitting a representation to the agricultural commissioner, the leaders wrote, “Rythu Bandhu has not been deposited into the accounts of farmers. The KCR government did not give the subsidy for agricultural equipment and caused trouble to farmers. The government did not even implement the crop insurance scheme of the Central government.” Those who met the official included BJP Kisan Morcha national executive member Goli Madhusudhan Reddy, Papayya Goud, Padamati Jaganmohan Reddy and Tirupati Reddy, among others.
