VISHAKHAPATNAM: Narsipatnam YSRC legislator P. Umashankar was injured in a bike rally when his motorcycle was hit by another two-wheeler as he was riding his vehicle in the group. His leg was injured in the incident and he was shifted to a private hospital in Vizag city where he is undergoing treatment. His condition is said to be stable.
The MLA, along with his followers, has organised a motorcycle rally in Gologunda mandal of Narsipatnam Assembly segment of Anakapalli district in support of decentralisation proposal by Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.
