Hyderabad: Police arrested two persons and seized 200 kg of ganja worth ₹50 lakh and 1.1 kg of hash oil worth ₹11.32 lakh in separate cases. The arrests were carried out by the task force in collaboration with Chandrayangutta and Tappachabutra police. The accused were identified as Jadhav Shivaram, a driver from Sangareddy district, and Lalit Mandi, a farmer from Koraput, Odisha.21-Yr-Old Kills Woman to Avoid Marriage, HeldHyderabad:The Shadnagar police on Friday arrested 21-year-old Sanjay Chandra of Madhya Pradesh for physically abusing and murdering a 24-year-old woman to evade marriage. Police said the victim was a colleague at a company in Chatanpally, Rangareddy district.The complainant was a driver and a native of Madhya Pradesh. Police said Chandra had got into an affair with the victim. Upon returning in the evening, she found her daughter dead.The suicide of another 15-year-old girl was reported from Secunderabad. Her family had moved to the city from another place for work, but was planning to return. They were at the railway station when the family realised the teen was missing. The father informed the Government Railway Police, who launched a search and found her body.In Warasiguda, a 25-year-old BSc Nursing student died by suicide after an argument with her boyfriend, Srujan. Residents of Warasiguda, they were in a relationship for four years, police said. They argued over a message found on her phone and he reprimanded her for texting a boy. He reached out to the Hyderabad cybercrimes police who are investigating the case.The fraudsters reportedly contacted the victim through multiple individuals using different numbers. They claimed as resellers of vehicles and offered low prices. They also provided fake documents with the name of a reputed vehicle finance company.When he agreed, they began demanding a series of payments citing different reasons. The businessman made multiple transactions from his savings and borrowed money. After paying `37.95 lakh and receiving no vehicle, he approached the police.
